Our Partners
St. Jude Community Homes
House of Compassion receives a rent supplement and staff funding through our partner agency St. Jude Community Homes. We have a signed Multi-Service Accountability Agreement (M-SAA) that sets out our responsibilities with respect to this funding. Additionally, our Board of Directors is responsible for posting a Compliance Report with respect to this funding. These 2 documents can be reviewed by clicking on the links below:
City of Toronto
House of Compassion receives rent-geared-to-income funding through the Social Housing Unit of the City of Toronto.
Yorkminster Park Baptist Church
Yorkminster Park Baptist Church (YPBC) is where House of Compassion began and it continues to support our program today. In addition to being faithful donors, YPBC members provide home cooking to supplement weekly meals and holiday festivities as well as friendly visiting and spiritual support.
Gerard and Earlaine Collins Foundation
One of the original founders of House of Compassion, Gerard Collins sadly passed away soon after House of Compassion opened it’s doors. However, Gerry’s legacy has continued to support his vision through the Gerard and Earlaine Collins Foundation. This continued support has enabled House of Compassion to improve the lives of our residents for over 20 years.
